You can activate SBI SMS banking in your phone through sending messages. SBI SMS Banking service can be availed on all phones. You can send keywords such as SMS to 9223440000. Change MPIN

SBI has made it mandatory to change the default MPIN before start using SMS banking facility. Change the default MPIN by sending the following SMS to 9223440000.

The SBI Customer has to accept the Terms and Conditions by sending the following SMS to 9223440000:

Activate SMS banking through ATM

You can register for the SMS banking service through ATMs also. Visit any State Bank of India (SBI) ATM and follow these steps:

• Swipe the Debit Card
• Select Mobile Registration 
• Select Mobile Banking 
• Click on Registration 
• Enter your mobile number and confirm the number.

 

Activate SMS banking through Internet Banking

Using SBI net banking facility you can register for SBI SMS Banking. Follow these steps to avail SMS banking.

• Log into Online SBI website with your User ID and password.
• Select eServices 
• Click on State Bank Freedom from the list on the left side 
• Select Registration 
• Enter User ID and mobile number 
• Select the account (only SB/ CA) to be enabled 
• Click on the submit
• For adding more accounts, visit the Home branch of the primary account or other accounts.
