PAN Card Tracking

PAN Card which acts as a mandatory document to carry out the financial transactions is a lifetime document and it can be held by an individual, entity, corporate, Hindu Undivided Family and so on. It has a unique alpha-numerical code which cannot be duplicated by others. Any applicant who has applied for PAN card can track its status online. This procedure is applicable for both new and reprinting of a PAN Card. 

PAN Card Status UTIITSL

All those applicants who have filled in the PAN card application online using the UTIITSL can use this facility to track the PAN card delivery status. Those who have not used the UTIITSL cannot use this service to track PAN Card status. 

Follow the below – mentioned steps to track PAN Card status:

  • Visit the UTIITSL PAN Card Status Tracking Portal.
  • Proceed further and enter the ‘Application Coupon Number’ or your “PAN”
  • Now enter the security code and click on ‘Submit’
  • The status of PAN Card application will get displayed on the screen.

PAN Card Tracking NSDL

Those applicants who have filled their PAN through the TIN – NSDL portal can track its delivery status (both new and reprint or update) using the TIN – NSDL web site. 

There are two methods to check the application status at the NSDL portal:

PAN Card Tracking in NSDL using Acknowledgement Number

  • Visit the TIN – NSDL PAN Card Tracking Portal 
  • In the ‘Application Type’ option, select ‘PAN-New/Change Request’ from the drop-down list
  • Now enter the “Acknowledgement Number” followed by the security code
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button to check the status of your PAN card application. 

PAN Card Tracking in NSDL using Name and Date of Birth

Check the below points on how to track PAN Card status using Name and Date of Birth.

  • Visit the TIN – NSDL PAN Card Tracking Portal
  • Enter your name (include first, middle and last name) or the Company’s registered name
  • Enter the date of birth (individuals) or date of incorporation (companies).
  • Proceed further, enter the security code and click on the ‘Submit’ button.

PAN Card Tracking – Speed Post 

Applicants of PAN card can track its status using Speed Post after the generation or reprint of PAN card. The PAN card will be sent to the residential address of the applicant as mentioned in the application form. When the applicant checks the PAN card application status on the web portal of NSDL or UTIITSL, the consignment number will be mentioned in the application status. 

  • Visit the official web portal of India Post
  • Select the Consignment Tracking Portal 
  • Enter the consignment number followed by the security code
  • Proceed further and click on the “search’ button. 
  • Your PAN card delivery status gets displayed on the screen.
