PAN Card which acts as a mandatory document to carry out the financial transactions is a lifetime document and it can be held by an individual, entity, corporate, Hindu Undivided Family and so on. It has a unique alpha-numerical code which cannot be duplicated by others. Any applicant who has applied for PAN card can track its status online. This procedure is applicable for both new and reprinting of a PAN Card.
All those applicants who have filled in the PAN card application online using the UTIITSL can use this facility to track the PAN card delivery status. Those who have not used the UTIITSL cannot use this service to track PAN Card status.

Applicants of PAN card can track its status using Speed Post after the generation or reprint of PAN card. The PAN card will be sent to the residential address of the applicant as mentioned in the application form. When the applicant checks the PAN card application status on the web portal of NSDL or UTIITSL, the consignment number will be mentioned in the application status.
