PAN Card Fees

A Pan Card is an enormous godsend in India for everyone. It is a mandated resource to have for who is involved in business, trade or in any government authority. Each taxpayer in the country must hold a Pan Card to avoid penalties. With a requirement of minimal charges, owning a Pan Card is mandated for every taxpayer in India. Charges are assessed on the basis of the applicant's residence type. Charges for holding a Pan Card is varied for domestic entities and foreigners.

Pan Card Cost in India

NRI's or the applicants residing in India must pay a fee of Rs 110, which comprises a processing fee of Rs 93+GST of 18%. Based on the differences in the state, the Indian Government agreed to have a standardized charge to avail a Pan Card. The use of the Pan Card would allow the user to carry out the financial transaction conveniently and take benefits of the subsidies permitted by the government.

Although the cost for the Pan Card has been incompatibles in the past, for all requests with a resident address in the country the Government of India has levied a standardized charge. Furthermore, this amount may vary, depending on the payment method of the claimant.

Pan Card Fees for Foreigners

In order to make transactions outside India, individuals are mandated to hold a Pan Card. The applicants have to make a fee of Rs 1011.00 (Application fee + Dispatch Charges Rs. 857) + 18.00% GST for new PAN application and Rs 1020.00 (Application fee Rs.93.00 + Dispatch Charges Rs. 771.00) + 18.00% GST for reprint/change of PAN card.

Charges for Reprint or Changes in PAN Card

In case of issuing a duplicate Pan Card, or if any change is require in the existing Pan Data. Applicants are required to pay a charge of Rs. 110 which includes a processing fee of Rs. 93.00+GST 18%. Foreign entities have to pay a fee of Rs 1020 which includes Application fee of Rs. 93.00 + Dispatch charges of Rs. 771 + GST of 18.00 % to make the process complete.

For Indians

Payment Mode for Pan Card charges

For Indian/NRI

Pan Card holders residing in India can pay the Pan Charges through Debit Cards/ Credit cards, Demand Drafts or Net Banking. While paying through Debit/Credit card the bank will charge an additional charge up to 2% for the application fee.

In case of the payment is done through DD, the demand draft must be in the favour of NSDL PAN.

Similarly, payment through Net Banking is done with a surcharge of Rs 4+GST

For Foreigners

For the entires residing outside India, the payment can be done through Debit Cards/ Credit cards, Demand Drafts or Net Banking. While paying through Debit/Credit card the bank will charge an additional charge up to 2% for the application fee. In case of the payment is done through DD, the demand draft must be in the favour of NSDL PAN. And also one must incur conversion or exchange charges imposed by the bank to initiate such payment.
